| Kammi and I shot our last wedding of the year two Sundays ago. We have photographed so many amazing couples this past year. There is still more editing going on as I try to catch up and get everyone on the blog. Even though the wedding season is over for us, I will continue to blog weddings probably until Christmas. We have many plans in the works for next year that I am excited to tackle and put into place. Will be keeping everyone updated through the blog, twitter, and facebook. Stephanie & Greg were married up at Lionscrest Manor on October 24th. As you can see orange was the color and it was a perfect choice for a fall wedding. They decided to make their dog the ring bearer which I love. He was so excited to be a part of their day. He ran up the isle to greet them. Here are some highlights from the wedding.

| I sometimes drive my wife crazy with all my ideas. I am always coming up with an idea to do something new with our photography business and it usually involves a ton of work. My wife has seen it time and time again - the photobooth, Senior Rock Star Tour, etc. I come up with most of my ideas while driving around; it's when the ideas always seem to pop into my head. This idea however was different. It was about giving back and helping others and my wife liked it! On a drive one day, I was trying to think of how to give back and help our church. Operation Photographic Mission popped into my head. Our church was trying to raise money for their Mission Trip to China and I wanted to help. Long story short...the idea was to do a marathon day of mini sessions at the church. Everyone was required to give a minimum donation for the session with an additional option to purchase Christmas cards. All proceeds went to raise money for the mission trip. The sessions filled up so fast we added a second day to try to meet the demand. We could have added a third day, but schedules got in the way. We set up three different backdrops in one of the rooms at church, and each session lasted 20 minutes. We were able to photograph about 15 families throughout the day and into the night. The photos below are of Little Miss Holly who stole my heart. She is only two years old; I cannot begin to convey how well she spoke and acted. She was way beyond the maturity level of any two year old I have ever seen. She loved to have her photos taken and she loved her little fairy dress. She was just so incredibly precious. It was great to donate our time to help raise money. I have no idea how much we will raise for the mission trip, but it was well worth it. I encourage everyone out there to help give back somehow. You don't have to have money to give back. Time, talent, and your presence can go a long way. There are so many ways you can give back; find something that is close to your heart and make a little extra time to help out. On a photographers note, I brought out my Alien Bee Ring Flash for some of the sessions. I hardly ever use this flash but I think I am going to start using it more. I forgot how much I love the look of the ring flash. It's not for everything but it gives a edge that I love.

| Katie & George got married this past October at Lionscrest Manor. Katie was just stunning, there's no other words to describe how beautiful she looked. Well I guess that is two adjectives to describe her. Loved the dress and the veil, just breathtaking. About once a year, we get couple that release doves during the ceremony. I love this added touch to a ceremony, it's just so beautiful to watch. A big thanks to Dawn Gioia who was able to second shoot with me. Here are a couple of photos from their wedding.

| Beth and Rick came from out of town to get married at Lionscrest Manor. Little did they know how quickly Colorado weather could change. We had an early October snow storm roll in. Since I have been living out here the last 10 years I have never seen Colorado get this much snow this early. The great thing is, nothing could stop Beth and Rick from an outdoor wedding. It was a beautiful winter wonderland wedding. The snow was like a spring like storm with the snow thick and fluffy which covered the trees so beautifully. You might remember Beth & Rick's engagement session where Rick changed into his lime green tux. Well usually it's the bride that has a clothing change for the reception. Well Rick and his lime green tux came out to play during the reception. The dance floor was packed all night long. Even Beth's dad got up and belted some songs with the band. Check out some of the highlights from their beautiful wedding.
