  • Kristen & Jim|Wedding

Such a wonderful Denver wedding to blog about. Kristen & Jim got married at the most beautiful church in Denver. The Cathedral of Basilica of the Immaculate Conception is my favorite church to photograph in. As you see in the pictures is just amazing. Jim’s parents could not make it out here for the wedding so Kristen & Jim hired 1321 Studios who broadcast the whole event live to his parents in Florida. How incredible is technology these days. 1321 Studios also did a amazing job with their video as well. If you are looking for an amazing videography team to document your wedding day, check them out. The whole wedding was pulled together by Kerri from A touch of Bliss who is an incredible wedding planner. I have been looking forward to working with her for a long time. We can’t wait to work with her again. I think all wedding couples should use a planner like Kerri. She took care of everything and made the day go so smooth. Here are a ton of photos from their wedding.

  • Peggy & Matt|Engagment Session

There are some weddings that you are just look forward to. Peggy and Matt are one of them. Kammi and I met Peggy at a bridal show a while back and just feel in love with her energy, personality, and spirit. Their upcoming wedding reception will be at the Ritz Hotel in Denver. All the details sound amazing, and photographing these two again will be nothing but fun.

Denver’s summers can sometime be extremely hot, yesterday it was over 100 degrees for their engagement session. Luckily we did have some cloud coverage come in right before our session to cool things off a little bit. Yesterday was the first time I met her fiance Matt who has a killer job. Outside of photography if I had another job it would be to work for a sports team, well for the Braves. Go big or go home I guess. I am a huge baseball fan…a huge Braves fan to say the least. I mean, I had a dog named Justice, a son named Maddox, I took my wife on our honeymoon to Curacao(which is where Andrew Jones lived), and if we have another boy we have another named pick out that is another Braves players last name. Anyways, Matt works for the Colorado Rockies, it’s not excatly the Braves, but it’s baseball. Enough with the baseball talk, here are some photos from their engagement session.

  • Leslie & Adam|Lionscrest Manor Wedding

Leslie and Adam got married at the end of June at the beautiful Lionscrest Manor. Leslie and her girls got their hair and makeup done at Evolution Salon who did a wonderful job. Their wedding day was just perfect. It was a hot, hot June summer day, but before the ceremony the clouds rolled in to cool things off and give us perfect light to work with. Since I have been so bad at blogging lately I posted lots of photos for you to enjoy. Have a great weekend everyone.

  • Peyten at One Year!!!

These are the kind of session that make what I do so worthwhile. I have photographed Petyen for the last year and it has been incredible to watch her grow. We also photographed Kelly and Matt’s mountain wedding many years ago. Having clients that keep coming back to document the biggest milestones in the life is such an honor. I love my job!

This is her sad face not wanting to take anymore photos.

This is her happy face while playing the Wiggles on the iphone, she would light up when she heard it.

  • Oxford Wedding|Rachel & Bill

I can’t believe how long it has taken me to blog lately. Tis the season I guess. We have been photographing weddings, babies, maternity, and seniors. I am desperately trying to catch up on editing. On top of that I have been putting together our new website, by Show It. Once that is done, I will be leaving Xanga and creating a new blog. Couldn’t tell you how long that will be. Maybe after wedding season, in the meantime I will continue to post here.

Rachel and Bill got married this past June in the wonderful Oxford Hotel. Rachel was simply stunning, and I fell in love with her dress. Andrea from AK Haydon Floral Designs did an amazing job on her flowers. Go check out her website, it is filled with beautiful creations. I have never met Andrea but have been following her on twitter. It was great to finally work with her.

Aly from 5280 Weddings and Events was the day of cordinator.

So since I am so behind on blogging, I thought I would just fill this post with lots of photos from Rachel and Bill’s wedding. Here are a bunch of my favorites. Enjoy and have a great 4th of July.
